She and her husband, Brian, the PA announcer for Jaguar Volleyball, live in Highland Village with their son, Steele. In addition to her coaching duties, Siegel is a health teacher at FMHS.
She led the team in that category three straight seasons (2002-04) and her career average of 10.6 assists per set is second-best in school history. Originally from Bedford, Texas, Siegel also starred as a Division I setter at Austin Peay State University, still ranking fourth in career assists in school history. Gilleland had a whopping 658 kills and added 212 digs and 15 aces. The Belmont signee's big season earned her the nod as the player of the year on The Daily News Journal's all-area volleyball team for 2021. In 14 seasons overall entering 2023, her career record is 460-138 and she has reached the State Playoffs in each campaign.ĭuring her career, she has coached numerous players who went on to play collegiately, including six All-Americans at Flower Mound, a group highlighted by the only three-time All-American in school history, Kaylee Cox.
